On 21st June, VERITAS Design Group collaborated with Majlis Perbandaran Hulu Selangor (MPHS) to launch the Taman Awam Pintar Taman Teratai (Taman Teratai Smart Public Park) initiative through a meaningful community tree planting program in Bukit Beruntung. Over 60 participants— including residents, students, community groups, and strategic partners—came together to plant 200 Messua ferrea (Penaga Lilin) trees, reinforcing a shared commitment to biodiversity and sustainable placemaking. The event featured remarks from MPHS officials, VERITAS President David Mizan Hashim, and VERITAS Fund for Excellence (VFE) President Zubair Hazni, who highlighted VFE’s broader ESG-driven outreach efforts. VERITAS Landscape also presented the vision for the upcoming smart public park as an inclusive, green space designed to serve the diverse surrounding community.
