Designed with a diamond-inspired silhouette, the building transforms its compact 1.15-acre site into a dynamic hub of connectivity, visibility, and architectural expression.
ARCHITECTURE
Menara Etiqa stands as a striking corporate landmark in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur with its diamond-shaped form gleaming amidst the city skyline. Strategically positioned between Jalan Bangsar and Jalan Bangsar Utama, the tower capitalizes on dual frontages to activate its compact 1.15-acre site, fostering seamless pedestrian connectivity between the adjacent Etiqa building at Dataran Maybank, UOA Tower, and the surrounding urban fabric.
More than just a Grade A office building, Menara Etiqa exemplifies environmental leadership. It proudly achieves both GBI Gold and GreenRE Platinum certifications — a result of sustainable practices embedded into every facet of its design. A vertical green wall enlivens the street-facing corner of the parking podium, while the building’s sleek crystal-grey curtain wall and shimmering PVDF-coated aerofoil louvers optimize solar performance and visual continuity.
Inside, the tower maintains high indoor air quality, thermal comfort, and active energy and water monitoring systems—ensuring a healthy workplace environment. Dubbed the “Green Jewel” of Bangsar, the development exemplifies a modern workplace environment infused with biophilic and sustainable design principles.
The landscape design for Menara Etiqa aims to reinforce its identity as a sustainable urban landmark. Guided by modern line design philosophy, the masterplan includes a seamless covered walkway linking Dataran Maybank to the Bangsar LRT Station for walkability and user comfort.
Signature elements such as cascading water features at the Ground Floor and Level 1 foster a welcoming ambience. A key highlight is the extensive green wall system, spanning over 1,000m², custom-designed to enhance the façade and drop-off area with lush vertical greenery that redefines the building’s urban edge.
The terrace-level recreational podium introduces a lifestyle component where tenants can engage in activities such as yoga, informal meetings, and sky dining. The holistic landscape design, which includes a vertical garden system, creates a dynamic and multi-functional green workplace that supports both wellness and sustainability in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
ENVIRONMENT
The building features a large green wall on the parking podium and a green-rated crystal grey curtain wall that extends to the ground, ensuring visual continuity. The tower meets Grade A office building standards and holds both GBI Gold and GreenRE Platinum ratings. By utilizing sustainable materials and environmentally responsible design practices, the development promotes energy and water efficiency, as well as the monitoring of energy and water use. Additionally, the building maintains indoor thermal comfort and high indoor air quality for the well-being of its occupants.
