Tucked into a quiet residential pocket, 10 Damansara Villas reinterprets the private enclave as a layered and connected community. Comprising 8 exclusive bungalows and 2 apartments, the development is unified by a shared elevated courtyard—creating a tranquil recreational spine while preserving privacy, scale, and discreet luxury across its terraced layout.

ARCHITECTURE

10 Damansara Villas is a boutique residential development set on a gently sloping square site in Damansara Heights. With road access on both ends, the site accommodates 8 generously proportioned bungalows and 2 apartment units, all oriented around a central landscaped courtyard. This elevated courtyard, which houses the swimming pool, deck, and clubhouse, forms the heart of the development and is accessible only to residents—creating both a sense of community and seclusion.

The units are arranged across three stepped terraces, each with a height difference of approximately 2 to 3 meters. This tiered configuration not only addresses the site’s natural topography, but also enhances spatial privacy, ensuring that sightlines between homes do not overlap. Built-up areas are optimized across the levels, culminating in a penthouse unit perched atop the clubhouse with panoramic views of the entire enclave.

Architecturally, the project embraces a modern contemporary language defined by clean rectilinear forms, muted material palettes, and minimalist detailing. Completed in 2014 and developed by Mulpha Berhad, 10 Damansara Villas blends elegance, exclusivity, and thoughtful design into a compact yet expansive living experience.

LANDSCAPE

Complementing the architectural design is the landscape that plays a central role in shaping the character and ambience of this exclusive bungalow development. Despite the site’s compact footprint, green spaces are thoughtfully integrated throughout, offering a lush and cosy garden experience. All sideways and perimeter areas are maximized with green patches, ensuring every view from within the site is softened by greenery. Each bungalow is complemented by tree clusters and vertical climbers along walls and fences, creating a consistent green backdrop for every home. The landscape design embraces a modern contemporary style, harmonizing with the architectural language of the residences.

The heart of the development features a striking swimming pool with a water weir, framed by a cascading landscape that artfully responds to the site’s natural topography. Perimeter greenery is enhanced with cascading planter boxes that reclaim green space previously occupied by caisson retaining walls, offering a seamless blend of engineered structure and natural elements. This careful layering of softscape and structure results in a serene and intimate environment where nature is woven into every corner of the design.
