OUR GREEN PLEDGE

Moving toward a sustainable future, we henceforth commit to accepting only architectural project assignments which aspire to obtain formal green certification, thus ensuring environmentally sustainable and cost-effective solutions. To facilitate this, VERITAS has implemented continuous training of its staff resulting in a high number of green certified professionals within the group.

OUR APPROACH

Our sustainable strategies represent more than technical solutions; they embody our commitment to responsible stewardship of the natural and built environments. Our approach includes integrating advanced simulations to optimize the design with holistic environmental strategies tailored to each project’s unique context. By integrating sustainability from the earliest conceptual phases through to project completion, we ensure that every decision serves both immediate needs and long-term operational and environmental goals.

OUR INITIATIVES

VERITAS C.A.R.E

Cost Awareness by Responsibility toward the Environment (C.A.R.E) is a voluntary carbon reduction and sustainability program by VERITAS Design Group that focuses on making the Group the greenest and zero carbon architectural practice by 2025. The program is also aimed to be a certification tool for Sustainable Professional Office Practice in Malaysia.

VERITAS GreenCheck

The application of sustainability principles and tools at an early design stage can have the greatest impact on cost and performance. Thus, we created the VERITAS GreenCheck, our customized sustainability design tool and passive design checklist for project phases from conceptual to design development.

VERITAS Environment

The formation of VERITAS Environment Sdn. Bhd in 2013 as a specialist sustainability consulting arm is a testament to the group’s commitment to this goal. Meanwhile, the development of the VERITAS Resilient program formulates strategies to tackle design challenges brought about pandemics, climate change and civil unrest. By aligning its environmental goals with global sustainability standards, VERITAS strives to contribute positively to the communities it serves and the planet at large.
